Episode 060- Jaymi Heimbuch launches a membership community for conservation visual storytellers

Show Notes

Jaymi Heimbuch has two goals the first is to make a positive impact for conservation through photography and storytelling. And second is to provide training and tools for fellow photographers seeking to do the same.

She does this through a variety of wildlife projects like the Urban Coyote Initiative and Watershed Sentinels projects and her newly launched Wild Ideas Lab.

Not only is she serious about creating projects she is the recipient of a National Geographic Expeditions Council grant for her work on urban coyotes.

One of her images was turned into a stamp by the United Nations Postal Administration to celebrate the International Day of Happiness.

And her environmental, wildlife and companion animal writing has been published in a wide variety of print and online publications, including Huffington Post, Sierra Club’s Green Life Blog, and a cover feature in BBC Wildlife Magazine.

She is also an author of an award-winning book about ethiopian wolves.

Wild Idea Lab
Jaymi shares a little bit about her upcoming Masterclass on Wild Ideas Lab "So it's gonna be focused around people who really want to dial in on ways to make their conservation stories have a bigger reach and a bigger impact and to be really strategic about it. So, overall, the Wild Ideas Lab, I created it in order to be this kind of one stop place for community support and education for anyone working in conservation visual storytelling."
